Hey there fiber enthusiasts and friends! I’m excited about rolling out my new name and logo. I have changed from Circle B Alpacas to Circle B Fibers.
I am branching out from alpaca fiber and trying out different types of wools and other natural fibers. Don’t get me wrong, alpaca will always be special to me and one of my favorite fibers to play with. But I am eager to get my hands on different breeds of sheep wool, cottons, silk, mohair, angora…..the list goes on. I’m going to try my hand at spinning with soy and corn silk as well. You could say I’m diversifying.
It’s been busy around the farm with launching the new website and updating my Etsy site, but it’s been so much fun. I just finished spinning plying almost 300 yards of Blue Faced Leicester wool. It was easy to spin and made a beautiful yarn. I have some merino waiting in my fiber studio, better known as my fiber dungeon that I plan on blending with some alpaca. I think it will turn out really nice and squishy soft!
I had better get back to work for now. Thanks for joining me on my new website and please come back and check to see what is happening here on the farm at Circle B Fibers. Also check out my presence on twitter.com/circlebfibers and instagram.com/circlebfibers
